Marc LeClair has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Metis N4 Construction Inc. since July of 2014. AS CEO he is responsible for overseeing a construction management project team and taking the lead as the Managing partner in a wide range of Joint Venture arrangements with leading Canadian Companies.
Marc LeClair’s consulting practice operates under LeClair Infocom, which is a Canadian leader in Indigenous economic development with a focus on procurement and employment and training. He has worked with the Canadian federal government in modernizing its Indigenous procurement instruments and has been retained by the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council, the VANOC 2010 Olympic Committee and leading private sector companies to assist in the development of Indigenous participation strategies.
Mr. LeClair has extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with undertaking a variety of public policy, planning, and project management files. He has been retained by federal, provincial and Aboriginal governments on a wide variety of cultural, social, health, economic and community development files. He has represented Aboriginal people, organizations and governments in the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has provided advice to Prime Ministers, Ministers of the Crown and local, regional and national Indigenous leaders. He has participated in all major national Aboriginal processes since 1984 including over a dozen First Ministers conferences and as many Premiers Conferences. He has been retained at one time or another by all 5 national Indigenous organizations. His advice has been provided to numerous Royal Commissions and national consultative processes affecting Indigenous people.
